David and Melissa Chavez of Glendora, CA, were two people motivated to succeed from the very beginning. Though they came together from two different backgrounds - David from the projects in East L.A. and Melissa from a middle class family of entrepreneurs - both were determined to make something of their lives and be successful.

David was working as a business developer for a credit union and Melissa worked as a business developer for a car insurance company. Little did they know that their ability to generate business and build a company would soon pay off. Melissa was already working toward becoming an entrepreneur and was considering starting her own homeowner's insurance business with the help of her father.

Then they learned about Primerica and saw the big picture. "I immediately saw that Primerica was an incredible opportunity," Melissa recalls. "We could have the freedom of time and control over our income while helping people at the same time."

She also discussed Primerica's business opportunity with her father.
